Join Kevin for a practical experience, where together we explore the Chakra system.
We will begin this 2-hour workshop with a fun exercise that will show you where you are blocked both physically and emotionally.
Kevin will then lead you in a Chakra meditation to bring awareness to these energy centres in the body, from there, once we’re grounded, we will dive into an intentional Yoga practice to allow you to feel into these areas of stagnant energy, using techniques including toning, mantra, mudra, and physical practice. We will close our time together with yoga nidra that will leave you feeling balanced and restored.

Embodying the Spine | A Backbending Workshop w. Kevin | April 23rd, 2 - 4 pm
In this workshop, you will learn the foundations of backbending with a therapeutic approach for the low back. Backbends can feel challenging for many, and for some, they may seem even impossible. There is so much focus that needs to be placed on the inner self, and this can be a frightening experience for some.
The spine holds past traumas we may have experienced, some without even being aware of them. When we begin to accept the parts of ourselves that we're ashamed of or resist, we open up more internal space. As we open up the back body, we open the back of our hearts creating an emotional response. This offers healing and presence.
Backbends require us to open our heart centre; both the front and back of the heart. This is our energy centre in the body where our feelings, self-trust and love reside.
Come learn not only how to make backbends accessible for your body, but also how to strengthen your spine and increase your flexibility; all while adapting for your own body structure. Move beyond obstacles to create free flowing movement in your spine.
This workshop is suitable for all levels of Yoga practitioners.

The practise will focus on a flow to bring awareness to limiting beliefs and other obstacles that may prevent us from manifesting our Sankalpas (Intentions). Building physical strength, with a courageous heart and clear, focused mind, we can move mountains.

This workshop is for those who find themselves holding space for others. As Spiritual teachers and practitioners, it is easy to pick up energy that is not ours and unknowingly let it influence us and bring confusion into our lives. We must protect ourselves.
