As you deepen your yoga practice you come to understand that yoga is much more than asana (the physical practice). You may have heard your teachers mention the eight limbs, the yoga sutras or they may have read quotes from the Bhagavad Gita.
This training will cover the history of yoga, important texts of yoga philosophy, mythology, and an exploration of the Hindu pantheon. It will teach methods of weaving philosophy into a physical yoga pracitce, as well as provide the opportunity to delve into a deeper understanding of yoga philosophy.
A 20- hour certificate in Yoga Philosophy will be provided, as well as 20 Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Units (CEUs).

-Learn how to protect yourself energetically
-How to weave philosophy and storytelling into a class
-The Gunas (Qualities of Nature)
-Koshas and Kleshas
-Mantras and Chants
-How to create a sacred space (Alter)
-Philosophy manual to take home
